Liz on a Mission
Liz and her Husband have been married for 23 years. Together, they are the proud parents of seven children, and welcomed their first grandchild this summer. Liz and her family moved to Linden in 2017, after several relocations due to her husband’s military service. They instantly fell in love with the small-town charm of the community.
Coming from a long line of public servants, Liz has deep rooted connections to service. Her grandfather was a retired US Navy Veteran who served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Her father was a Vietnam veteran and police officer, and several uncles served in the United States Army, with one additionally serving as a firefighter. Public Service runs in her blood.
While her husband served our country, Liz chose to stay home, raising their children and being both mother and father during his deployments. Managing five children under eight years old during these times was her way of serving the country.
After her husband retired from the United States Navy, Liz was inspired to pursue her own calling for public service. She ran for city council in Linden and was elected in 2022. During her tenure, she noticed issues including lack of transparency, unrecorded meetings, and neglected infrastructure leading to higher fees for residents.
As she runs for Mayor, Liz promises respect, communication, transparency, and consideration of Linden residents’ voices in all her decisions. While she acknowledges that not every decision will be universally liked or agreed upon, she is committed to serving with dedication and integrity.
